Ronald E. Ruben

In the book of Jeremiah, the Lord says, “I will give you pastors according to my heart who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” Pastor Ron Ruben has such a heart. It has always been his heart’s desire to teach the local church who Christ is and who they are in Him. He has the ability to impart the Truth of God’s Word in a straightforward, practical way.

OUR PURPOSE

The purpose of Lighthouse Baptist Church is to exalt Jesus Christ, equip the saints, evangelize the lost, and extend Christ-like love.

OUR VISION

The vision of Lighthouse Baptist Church is to grow as an “impact” church that significantly extends the Kingdom of God in the western suburbs of Chicago and around the world through reaching non-believers and leading them to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

OUR PHILOSOPHY OF MINISTRY
1. Our goal is to glorify God.
2. Our foundation is faith in Christ.
3. Our guide is the Bible.
4. Our power is the Holy Spirit.
5. Our focus is people.
6. Our standard is Christ-like behavior, service, and love.
7. Our field for ministry begins in Plainfield and Romeoville, Illinois and extends unto all the world.
8. Our means for ministry is work and prayer.
